Do you have a topic you would like to see some discussion on?  Please, send them to us!  We at FBF are here for you.  Before we get back into the Exposition of Matthew 7, we would be glad to take a few more suggestions.  Thank you.

We at FBF, Time for Christ and Sons of Thunder would like to Thank you again for your prayers and encouragements as the Teams in East, Central, South and Western Africa are experiencing many advances and serious revival that continues in the East and Central sections... all Glory to God!  East India continues to open up new territories with the Gospel, and the Open Air preach continues in the US.  All teams are training new recruits at this time.  We thank the LORD for the good work of participating with His Kingdom advance... and with all His Church Bride who is eagerly awaiting His soon return.  This is the hour for all of God’s children to ‘rise up’ for the gospel of Jesus Christ!  It’s TIME to do all we can in Christ.  His return is more certain than ever before!    Amen.

The focus of the Pastoral Letter (PL) is along the lines of generally edifying and encouraging Preachers to establish more of Christ in our lives, promoting the Kingdom of God where ever we go, Establishing God fearing Churches, mission updates (Africa, India, US), missions reports, focus points, teaching, exposition, a short list of mail-ins (with some excerpts).  We are committed to the Great Co-Mission for all, as being salt and light are not an option in the church of Jesus Christ. Matt 5:13-16 ...  We continue to bless all those who are at work in the advancement of the Kingdom of God... for Jesus sake.  We continue to call all men to Jesus, and to the simplicity of Christ that we find in the Book of Acts Church...   to His Glory and Praise!
Acts 2:42, 46-47,   Mark 16:15-16
May the LORD leave His richest blessings upon each one of you as you Press On with Jesus!

The New Man in Christ
Opened and enlarged upon – in outline form for instruction, preaching and teaching:
The New Man is the result of having come to an end of our old life in the flesh as ruler... and being Born Again... as a new creation!  Romans 6:1-7   Now living with the Holy Spirit in us, and Christ as our Living Head and King, saints no longer live for themselves, but for the Kingdom of God... the Old man Adam is put away, and the New Man in Christ is put on through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.   2 Cor 5:17-19  Jesus is also our High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us.  Heb 7:24-28  Praise the LORD.
It’s important to remember that these things were written to a very good church fellowship!  Yet Paul is a faithful.
We pray that this outline enlivens your spirit and walk... and gives strength to your understanding and teaching.
Colossians 3
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.

This is addressed only to those who are born again... and the apostle directs our attention towards the things that are under Jesus’ Authority and command... and not from a fallen, cursed world below.  Jesus said:  My kingdom is not of this world.  Amen.  Far too many are filling their time seeking the wrong things in this life..

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
The apostle goes further, and commands that followers ‘fix their heart affections’ towards the things of the Kingdom... looking up to that which is above—under the rule of Christ... and not caught up in all the affairs, desires, cares and enchantments of this world.  For, it is the Kingdom of God where Jesus is enthroned with power from on high, that we may obtain and maintain our treasure in Heaven.  For, if we have a love-agape of the world... the love-agape of the Father in not in us.         1 Jn 2:15-17

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Those who are risen in Christ, having died to the old man, are now covered/ hid in the nature, promises and power of Christ.  Behold! Old things have passed away!  New things are come!  (you are) a new Creation!       2 Cor 5.17

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
The great expectation of our LORD’S 2nd advent will result in seeing Jesus with a new body... every saint!  This will happen one time... and the same time.  The Body of Christ will be one for the 1st time... Glorifying the LORD!  Amen.  This is the BEST part of His 2nd coming!  Amen.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness,
inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

MORTIFICATION!  Now here is a work that will consume a lot of time and attention with saints who are moving on in their Christian walk of the New Nature/ New Man in Christ!  Mortification is putting to death (it no longer lives) to remaining pockets of flesh, deceptions, and desires.  Mark 9:43-48  No matter what, this work is most important as it is the raw material of CONSECRATION and HOLINESS... a holiness without which NO man or woman, no boy, no girl shall see the LORD!  Amen.   2 Cor 7:1,  10-11     May we all follow hard after sanctification – mortifying the flesh... and being conformed to the New Man of sinless Jesus.  Thank the LORD for His Grace and Mercy new every day for such a work as this.

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience:
Fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence (movement of sensual appetites towards that which we imagine will bring fleshly pleasure), covetousness – which are strong desires for things so that the mind is preoccupied with it, and the obtaining of it >> thinking about it all the time... which is IDOLATRY!  Replacing the good things of God for the things of this earth.  They must be repented of.

7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory.  There is none righteous, no not one!  But... we can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives us strength!  Amen.  Thank the LORD for the grace and mercy to REPENT.

8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
The New Man does not use his or her attitudes or mouth to discredit, deceive or abuse others... or the LORD!  The mouth truly was created and fashioned to ‘promote’ the Kingdom and Holy Fellowship among the saints... but these comes after Praise and Worship to Our God!  After all, it’s what’s in the heart that comes out of the mouth... and we must realize that the mouth is a true revealer of what’s in our heart’s!  We are to raise people up... not bring them down.  Certainly, as King David prayed... the mouth needs a guard set upon it.  Ps 141.3  James 3.5-6  Ps 34:13,  39:1

9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Let us remember that Paul is speaking to the Colossian Church!  Again... the tongue is for speaking the Word in Truth!  It’s to set men free from their bondage, sin and death... not to promote it!  With the tongue we can bless... or we can curse.  Lying only comes to ruin.  Mortify this one as soon as you can!  Make haste with all that you have!  Amen.    James 3.2     Rev 21:8,  22.15

10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
With the new man of Christ Jesus, and being born again... the saint is no longer squeezed into the mold of this world... in speech or in deeds... “be NOT conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”  Rom 12:1-2

11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Notice:  The new man of Christ, and His resurrection, is for ALL MEN and WOMEN EVERYWHERE!  The entire human race needs a saviour... for, we all stand before the cross on level ground. NO ONE has an inside track.  There is none righteous... no not one.  Jesus paid the price for all sin once and for all.  Oh what a Saviour we serve! May we serve Him and each other in the New man of Christ Jesus!  May we do that with joy in our hearts!   Amen.
Below:  After commanding the saints to “Put on the New Man” in vs. 11(and ALL that went before it), The Apostle Paul neatly packages the New Man (the new nature of living In Christ) into 8 steps to remember:

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering;
Without any reservation... these attributes are how Jesus treated us!  If we are to walk in His regeneration, then we are to respond with His Nature and Character as well.  The two can not be separated... they are one.  This nature is radically different from the Old Man of Adam!  We must continually ‘come unto Jesus’ to learn from Him, and to walk with Him... as His Holy children—learning to be merciful, kind, humble in mind, meek, and to long-suffer with each other... because of what Jesus did for us!  This will reflect the Holy Spirit in the New Nature that living saints now possess!  Amen.

13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Forbearing and Forgiveness is NOT something the Old man does! It is probably a rare thing.
For... to be a forgiving person, comes from first knowing the Great Forgiveness that Jesus forgave all our debt of sin with! What a Rich Mercy!!  In that new knowledge of the Truth (and the GREAT COST of the cross)... it becomes an easy thing to forgive quickly... no matter what the charge.  Nothing we can forgive will ever compare to ALL that Jesus forgave us for... as He loved us even when we were DEAD in our sin!  He still forgives us when we sin as saints!!  1 Jn. 1.9,  2.1-2    Forgiving others is a sure sign of the New Nature at work in saints.  Only you know if it is true in your own heart or not.  Matt 6:12-15

14 And above all these things put on (charity) agape love, which is the bond of perfectness. (Maturity, fruitfulness)
No man or woman possess this rich love!  No, no... it is given from God alone!  To love with the Love of God, means that you have received of His royal supply, and that you walk with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit... for every good thing comes down from above. No one has this capacity to agape-love as Christ loved us, except it be with the new man first in us!  Amen.  For... if we do not possess and love with this love... then we have Not put on the New Man in Christ!  With this love... we love our great God...we love each other... and we love the lost.  These are the 2 greatest commandment... upon which hang all the law of God.

The great result of walking in Christ (having put on:  Christ in Meekness and humbleness, Forbearing and Forgiving, and loving others with the Agape of Almighty God...) is that you will have His Peace as well!  Yes—the umpire of our hearts will be the Peace of Christ!  Peace like a river... for you have taken down the old man... and put on/ as a garment—the new man risen in Christ Himself!  Amen.  Yes... we must put on Christ, and let Him cover every area of your life together.  This will identify us with His Body—the Body of Christ... and as His peace ‘RULES’ in our hearts... we will begin to see that we are co-ruling within His Body of Believers as well... for they are ALL ONE MIND IN CHRIST!  Amen.  Acts 2:42, 46-47  Rom 12:16, 15:5-6;
2 Cor 13:11, Phil 1.27,  2.2-3;  1 Pet 3.8

 And be ye THANKFUL..
And... you will be very THANKFUL!!!  YOU have come to know the King of Kings and the LORD of LORD'S... YOU who have put on the New Man in Christ—and have been delivered from sin, death and HELL!  Amen.

Oh... one of the great tell-tale signs that one is Born again, and living in the New Man... is that they are very, very thankful!  For ALL THINGS great and small!!   You will be giving praise, glory and adoration to our Father for all that we see, think, hear, love and learn about Him and His great creation... all mingled with the fellowship with which is For His Children!  Indeed, ALL of life will become a prayer... even in the midst of persecution... and correction!  Yes... we will THANK the LORD our Father... even when he takes us out to the wood shed for a good spank!!  For... those He loves—He surely chastens and spanks!   Amen.  Heb 12:5-7  Col 2:7, 4:2,   Heb 13:15

16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
Not enough can be said about this aspect of the New Man... but, saints will have a continual refreshment and feast from the word of God... as a riving flowing from our midst... as a fountain of living water—let us drink deeply from the fresh drafts that come out of the Wells of Salvation!

It’s then that you will burst into song and praise when you run out of words in Blessing our thrice Holy God!  With all that is within you, you will want to give these many truths to others so that they can prosper in Christ Jesus as well!  This was the case with King David and the psalm writers, who put the Psalms all to song... that they may be a praise, and bit easier to remember in a song!  Preaching, and teaching and admonishing with many hymns and spiritual songs... giving life to the hearers.

Singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
The result of this will be writing your own songs of love, praise and adoration to our great God... Heart to heart!  You will be making melodies to the LORD JESUS, YHWH God and Father... and thanking the Holy Spirit continually for leading you into ALL the truth, and pressing home the urgency's of Holiness, mortification... to deliver saints in a sanctified/ Holy state for their Redeemer... readied for Glorification!  Yes... to the man and woman in Christ, there will be much always to sing with Grace—to our Great God—from the heart!  Actual worship and personal praise will flow from you... as a result of being ‘resurrected from the dead!’  Praise the LORD... the New Man will keep a song in your heart.  Let nothing take that from you!

17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
A fitting close to such a teaching (thanking the LORD for Colossians 3) on the New Man in Christ:  In ALL that you do in this life forward... regard that you are doing it before the LORD!.. in His very presence!  Come to know that HE IS WATCHING YOU!  May it be to His Glory.  Yes... may we ever learn to do all things in the Name/ Reputation/ Character/ and Nature of Jesus Christ!  He has purchased the resurrection and the life, the grace, the mercy, the gift of faith in SO GREAT a Salvation, and the Holy Spirit... now, we must put these things (concerning the New Man or Woman of Christ) into action... like never before! Paul brings it out a second time... may we ever be thankful for this privileged position of being included in ‘The Children of God!’ Amen     Heb 13:15

A CLOSING NOTE OF APPLICATION:
Please notice with me that ALL that the Apostle wrote here revolves around our relationship with Jesus Christ, and our fellow man!  The NEW MAN or WOMAN will treat others very differently than before salvation entered in.
Who can forget the way we were in our selfish-Adamic state?  A time when our opinion, last word and pride were such significant features!  All the conviction, guilt and sin... those old BC days before we knew Christ Jesus.  Indeed, we are all reminded daily through many temptations and trials, the devil and our flesh... and by the many thoughts that come into our head, that we are to remain in the NEW MAN.
Oh... may we think twice... or maybe three times, before we “react” to any situation or thing that comes along to unsettle us.  Rather, let us respond in Faith, through the Grace that is there for us.  And.. if there are failures... may we deal with them immediately!  Go to your neighbor, your brother, spouse, boss, elder, relative... the LORD JESUS, or any other, and get things right!  WE have been given Grace... and MUCH MERCY in this time on earth!!  May we not squander our time of probation here... but GROW in the Grace and the Knowledge of Jesus Christ.  May we walk in the New Man and Woman with the Freedom and Faith that the LORD Jesus purchased for us in His MOST COSTLY Blood!
He did not have to do it... but HE did!  Praise His Name for ever!!!!  Our Great High Priest, Covenantal Husbandman, Saviour, Lord and King forever is watching and waiting for us!  May we get to know Him in the Light of His countenance... and love one another with the Love wherewith He has loved us.  ‘That’ is the New man... risen with Christ Jesus.  Amen.  That is what you have available to you... even now, as you walk daily with Him!
May His Peace and Joy ever be upon you.   Jn. 13.34-35

Bro Ben – Report on Nakuru
Opening the Rift Valley in Kenya

FBF Bungoma Center – Bro Ben reports on Mission to Nakuru, 190 come to salvation
Greetings Bro Robert! Once more thanks for your help that enables us to got out preach the Gospel to the un-reached.  Brothers Cosmus, Elias, Jackson and myself left for Nakuru to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom in this un-reached area.. On arrival we were received by Brother Mark and team. We stayed there for 2 days, and would wake-up and go to those areas that are densely populated to reach out to many with the word of God. Many people were astonished and confided in us that it was strange! Nakuru town and its environs is not used to such open-air preach, which made many Souls come to Christ.
It all started when 2 religious  (anglican) bishops declared that they wanted to receive Jesus. These bishops told us that for the better part of their lives they have put their faith in religion and its doctrine, but now their spiritual eyes are open and found real truth in Christ. They took us to their respective homes, we prayed and had lunch together. The number of people who got saved rose from 70 on the 1st day to 190 the 2nd day. By the time we went at the main bus terminus ready to leave for Bungoma there was a multitude of people who came to see us off.  You see' we were clad in FBF t-shirts plus FBF banners, which makes it easier for anyone to identify us. God willing we intend to visit almost every part of Rift valley which is the largest province in Kenya, with its headquarters in Nakuru. May God bless FBF founder, Bro Robert and give him more revelation, Amen
  ~ Ben, FBF Bungoma Centre

The Preach at Super Bowl 2012 – Bro Robert

The Sports church worshiping the golden Bull of S Bowl

We were glad to take part of this preach.  Most unexpectedly, and with great joy... we were met with about 140 Open Air preachers from around the country!  One team of 110 came out of NY and NJ.  In talking with these men, they were all level headed, humble with a clean, cohesive gospel preaching everywhere!
As one large corporate team... there was preaching going on in everyplace all the time!  We had never experienced anything like this!  No matter where people went, they came in contact with The Gospel of Jesus Christ!  It was a Millennial view of sorts... and encouraged all of us (preachers) to PRESS ON with the work at hand... knowing that the enemy was truly out numbered.  This whole city was turned upside down with the Proclamation of the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ!
We had favor with the police department... who quipped that “there was no room for them on the street corners!”  So they stood in the streets!  Amen.
The Town was packed out for the week:  preachers came as they could.  We were a team of 3 and were there 2 days!  As you can imagine, things were really stirred up... and we all had many opportunities with the Gospel.  Right along side of the Work of God was the Sports Church madness... but we pressed home the need and urgency that men everywhere are being commanded to Repent!
Because of such an outpouring on this move of God upon the whole city... they now come under the category of those cities that are corporately accountable for what was raised up in their city for about one week.  Cities such as Nineveh, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Corazon, Bethsaida, and Capernaum... and many others.  For... as Jesus declared:
Mark 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Thankfully... some were saved, stirred, challenged and encouraged, and much more!  Below is a short video of many preachers on location taken by a dear brother, preacher and friend, Bro Andrew.  We give Glory to God for all the preachers who assembled to labor on behalf of our Risen Saviour... that He would gain the Glory for His eternal purposes... and Praise!  Amen.

East Uganda, Bro Wachana sets the course
for the year ahead for Uganda
MY DEAR BROTHER ROBERT E,
I thank God for all that we have seen and experienced and doing within our regional Uganda for the purpose and cause of reaching the lost within and beyond our region.
“For this is what the lord has commanded us. I have made you a light to the Gentiles that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth” Acts 13:47
2012 Uganda regional main plan (focus) and expression of fulfilling this calling is training teams and to be sent to establish Fairhaven local churches (Acts 27:8) this will duplicate the same vision of reaching our nation and beyond.
Our motto must be in mission to reach the lost for the kingdom of God Mathew 28:19. The Great Co-Mission delivered with the Open Air preaching is a vital part of our work.
Please FBF saints do join us in prayers, giving, training and coming for the missions.
Brother Robert we do welcome you to Uganda. For sure we are continuing in prayer for the good people who have also been contributing to the job situation which is still going forward, but has not completed yet , which if it comes about, will help us all in funding and maintaining ministries as well. Sometimes an answer, long awaited will suddenly be given, as it was when Hannah after many years bore a child. (1st Samuel 1:19-20), or when Simeon saw with his own eyes the long – expected Messiah come to the temple (Luke 2:25-35).
Yours in Christ,                                               Brother Wachana.

Brother David, a disciple in US appreciates a challenge for the open-air proclamation.

God Bless Robert,

I have been meaning to e-mail you for some time and thank you for challenging me to take a new look at how God uses preach in the New Testament specifically in Acts. It has really helped uproot some tradition and get a clearer view of the power of  the simple, foolish gospel that pleased God to be declared to this world. 1 Cor chapters 1 and 2 make it very clear what the gospel is, and how God in His wisdom wants the gospel to be preached. Much of modern day outreach and apologetics has done nothing more then make the powerful gospel of Christ another philosophy to be debated and discussed, which in many ways strips it of is power.

Hope all is well with you, you are in my prayers whenever I think of you. Are you still in Ohio?

Thank you again for challenging me to take a look at it from God's word. And thank you for your loving service to our Lord Jesus Christ and what you do in and for His body of Saints.

Much love in Christ,

David

Appreciation for the Work of FBF in Uganda – Bro Paul E

Dear Brother Ephrata,
Greetings from the Pastors and Church believers of Karamoja Northern Uganda in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for the great work you are doing for the Lord and towards us. Something you sent  to our Coordinator Wachana Bonventry for transportation really helped us so much. Rev. Wachana and Brother Patrick Changarwa visited us and by Grace he bought four (4) Luganda Bibles for us. We ate Christmas with new Bibles Glory be back to God. he told us that the gifts of Bibles came from you Brother Robert. May God bless you so much. We assure you that this way, we are praying for you (The Founder/Evangelist of FBF). Also praying for our beloved brothers Wachana so that God may provide for him at least a motor cycle or if possible vehicle to enable him to travel in different areas with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ instead of hiring, hiring is very expensive now days.
Wachana is approachable and a good councilor. If there is a problem and you call him, he reach there quickly and make reconciliation.  He is a worthy saint and effective elder that serves our FBF Uganda Regional coordinator.
Yours in Christ
Paul E

Bro James Samo – EAR Promoting peace with tribes during elections to avoid violence.

Dear Bro Robert ,

Glad to hear from you i am very pleased to read from the PL and now with the new format it's excellent! It is very important to be part of this and what God is doing around the globe am part of this movement in my generation Praise God.

Right now we are the campaign trail and as i mentioned Roy and his political group have invited to to be part of them and help promote peace and reconciliation among the various tribes and help him with logistics so this is a honour which is placing FBF on a high profile level in the political class i know we are there for the Kingdom sake and i will try ti see that i achieve our goal preaching Christ with simplicity.

Please i need your direction as to how to keep things from becoming a huge obligation... as we will not have any obligation but to serve the Kingdom of God in the best of my capacity at a high level of integrity which Christ show us on the cross.

God Bless your Brother Robert,
Nyanza Chapter FBF.     Brother James

Bro Wachana, Uganda Regional - encourages:

Mukama Yebazibwe my dear Brother Robert Ephrata, continuing in prayer
for you over time. My dear Brother for favour and grace with some
important people you are meeting with January 30 – 31 –2012

When we are earnestly seeking God for an answer to specify prayer, we
may infact repeat the same request several times Paul asked cthe Lord
“Three times” (2 Cor 12:8) that his thorn in the flesh would be taken
from Him. Just as Moses twice stayed on the mountain forty days before
God for the people of Israel (Deut. 9:25-26, 10:10-11) and just as
Jacob said to God “ I will not let you go, unless you bless me”. (
Genesis 32:26). Jesus Himself when he was in the garden of Gethsemane.
Asked the Father, “ Remove this cup from me” , yet not what I will ,
but what you will ( Mark 14:36-39). Then after he came and found the
diciple sleeping, Jesus prayed again  making the same request in the
same words: And again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.
These are instances of earnest repetition in prayer for a deeply felt need.
May bless you so much. Please by the meckness and gentleness of our
Lord Jesus Christ, greet all the saints that are there with you.
I remain yours in Christ
Wachana Bonventry

Greetings Bro. Robert, hoping that you are doing good.As the end time is nearer,i  and my colleagues in Worldwide and especially Africa countries, according to what i have been reading from our Sons of thunder website, really shows that God called you to proclaim for the lost souls.
Here,Kenya there are more Souls,we have won as a reward for the Lord Jesus Christ on His suffering. And i want to tell you that Pastor James and other colleagues are also working hard to see that more Churches are established. With me am travelling each and every week at different towns, slums, villages, even some places it needs me to walk footed but all this for the shake of the Gospel for the kingdom of God.I have been passing through persecutions and there was a time i went through hard life only because of the word of God.There is a spirit flowing in this our Ministry and i think it makes even our African COLLEAGUES to undergo problems,so pray for the Ministry to get more funds, because this Ministry more reachs only the poor people in Africa and Widows and Street childrens.Orphans, and these are the people according to my list of those who recieve Jesus Christ as their personal saviour,so you found that you can't tell them to offer you fare of going to another place and they don't have.We as Preachers,we need to have enough things to make us reach the unreached people.
Finally,i will not forge to tell you that am going to restate our wedding vows before the LORD this year June and the date will be set very soon. This will happen as one way of making my marriage as a holly marriage. You are highly welcomed with some of the sons of thunder in Jesus name to show unity.
Yours in serving as a Son Of Thunder

Bro Joshua, encouraged young disciple for the Open Air Preach – Florida USA

Hello Brother Robert!

Thank you brother for your encouragement to me in this area of the great Co-Mission! Having you brothers who are called to street preach really fueled my desire to follow after the gift I believe the Lord has given me. Each day as I look at the people we pass by, I don't think of people who can burn in hell, but rather of how they could be used for God if they were saved by the precious blood of Jesus! The encouragement that you gave me about having a shepherds heart has caused me to be more careful with my words and how I approach certain people. You had mentioned about pulling people out of the fire. Tonight we went down to the park and I had a good conversation with a young man who had claimed he was a Christian. I just started by asking him if he would be ready to meet God if he were to die tonight. He had said that he hoped he wasn't sinning when Christ returned. I replied that he should be right with God always. We did have some time discussing some other basic issues. A little later I said goodbye and was walking off when he called me back and asked what church I went to. I said that at this time we weren't going anywhere but are looking to relocate. Then we got into talking about lukewarm Christianity and how God hates it. He mentioned he listened to a contemporary Christian music station and I told him that that station wasn't really Christian at all. I gave some practical examples of where such music leads people and so forth. But the conversation was edifying and I feel that the man was able to get a grip on some new truths. I had told him that through the power of Jesus Christ, we can overcome all sin (he had been struggling with anger, he confessed) and how if we are willing to follow God's guiding, we will overcome and He will help us overcome. Again I believe he left with some good truth to think about, I know he was blessed because he had been talking about it with his son some when I was walking away.

Thanks for the tips on getting a banner and all. I know that sometimes printing and such can become quite expensive. I will take your advice. Today we had a yard sale and I picked up some good funds. Brother John L had told me about where I could find a bullhorn and I found one like his on Amazon for a good price. I am thinking of buying it... I'll pray about it some first though.
Yes, I praise the Lord for allowing us to go to a fellowship where others have a burden for reaching out to the lost. I do know that brother Andrew does have a heart after doing so. I have been blessed by his consistency in praying for outreach ministries. One in particular that I have taken on praying for is the Loaves and Fishes ministry. Which is a ministry that reaches out to prisoners. I have read some of the comments from the prisoners and it seems they have been blessed and also many have been born again through that ministry.
Amen brother! I am definitely open for contributors for the publication. In fact I would desire you to write if you like. Next issue I need some one to write for the  "Wisdom Corner." As you might know, this section is especially for more mature Christian men to exhort the younger brethren. If you'd like to write that would be great. Also if you wish not to write for that and just send in articles when ever the you feel the Lord leading, that is also perfectly fine with me. This next issue will be out in maybe a month or so (maybe less).
Thursday went well. The people really liked the house except for the fact that there wasn't a garage so now they won't buy it. Dad will probably list it with the realtor on Monday. We are praying for the Lord's will in this.
I have been remembering you in my prayers lately and the other brothers who preach with you as well. Please remember me as well so that I may be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading in my life. Also that the enemy may not have his way in my life.
Regarding the quote I say amen to what you said. I have this quote at the end of every email I send out.
I would like to keep in touch at least once a week if that is fine with you...
I hope all is well with you and hope that you may be continually refreshed in all the blessings that the Lord has for you!
Your brother in Christ,
Joshua

The next day... Bro Joshua leads a man to the LORD...  Open Air preaching with his father.
Hello Brother Robert,
I greet you in the name of our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ!
Thank you for responding to my email today. I appreciate your encouragement to pray with those who are willing before I leave them. I had not done that last night and wished today that I would have.
I have wonderful news to share with you! This evening around 5:30 dad and I went out downtown. We were there for quite some time, probably an hour to an hour and a half. I was able to open air preach some... Dad said that he doesn't feel the Lord calling him to preach but he feels that he can hand out tracts and talk one on one with people. So dad did talk to some people and had some good conversations. The night was a great night for preaching, there was a concert of some sort and it was about ended when we got there, so we were able to catch people on the way out. I allowed the Spirit to lead me in what to say and I felt that I should focus my message on a tract that I had called What If? Unfortunately I do not have any signs so I just held up a card and lifted my voice. The main thing I asked people was "What if you where to die tonight (or on your motorcycle, or in a car accident, or by being shot etc...). From there I basically said that Jesus saved me from sin and hell and I am free from sin and am living a new life in Christ. The place in front of where I was preaching is a restaurant or lounge type place called World Of Beer. It's a good sized beer joint and quite a few folks went in there. When some people where in my path walking in there I would kind of put myself in the way a little more than I already was and ask them: "Wait a minute folks... Before you enter that place, would you be ready to meet God Almighty if you were to die tonight." One of the responses was "Yes, I went to church today..." I asked why and he said "I go to church every Sunday, man..."  My response was "No lukewarm Christians in heaven, God will vomit them out of his mouth..." I guess one of the guys didn't know what the word "lukewarm" meant so I said "People who say that they are Christians and ride the fence are automatically damned for hell." One lady while smoking asked what I was doing telling people about Jesus and I said that "I love Jesus and he has saved me from sin and hell, and He can do the same for others as well." She responded asking if I was a JW or had a religion... I told her that I didn't have a religion but followed after Christ. She asked for some gospel tracts and said she would read them.
I hope that the above gave you somewhat of a taste of my experience but the last best thing I'd like to share with you is that tonight a soul was won to Christ! Amen!
I was asking the question of "What if you were to die tonight? Would you be ready to meet God?" And a young man came up to me and was wondering about what I was talking about. I asked him the question again and he said he wasn't sure if he was ready or not, he hoped so. I started out by asking if he had some time to talk, and he did. I asked him wether he knew about a place called hell and a place called heaven. He said he vaguely knew about it. I asked him if he ever burned himself before and if it hurt. He replied that he had and I applied that to hell. Then I shared with him about the way to heaven. That when one is a believer and is a obedient to the Lord's will and command, and has a true relationship with Him the eternal reward is dwelling with Him in the kingdom of heaven. Just to give you a bit of background (I'll try to be brief), this young man is 19 and is a homeless. There have been some situations with his family, where his mom has been living with her boyfriend and the young man was accused of stealing money when he didn't and he was kicked out of the house. For sometime he has been wandering the streets without shelter and not much food. He has no money nor phone. So as I talked with him I focused on God's care for people, and told him about the verse that talks about how God cares for the flowers of the field and sparrows of the air, He cares for the His children. I explained that just because God cares for us doesn't mean He will spoil us either with unneeded material things. I talked with him for about 25 minutes and really could sense his sincere desire to follow after God. We had discussed some deep subjects of certain sins and how God hates it, one of them being homosexuality. He said he learned in school that those people have a genetic mutation and are born that way. I rebuked that and told him that God hates homosexuality very much. I read passages from Romans 1 and I Corinthians 6:9. The light-bulb went on and he understood clearly and agreed with what God says about that, his view changed. I shared the account of Job with him and told him how he when serving God should remain faithful no matter what happens. To wrap it up I asked him if he desired to change and make a commitment to God to become saved. I told him that if he didn't feel right about it, to not do it to please me but please God. I explained frankly about all that is to come when being a Christian I told him that it would cost him his friends making fun of him and people mocking him. But he didn't care I told him that when he made a commitment he would be accountable to God and he should not stray from the Lord. Also encouraged him about the broad and narrow way. But anyway we prayed right there... That young man lifted his hands the Lord and said he felt like doing so, but he hadn't lifted his hands like that before he said. So we lifted our hands, prayed and rebuked the evil spirits in the name of Jesus and asked God into his life and we prayed right there in the midst of people walking around and watching us as if we were strange. But after we prayed I could see just the glow of Christ on his face and the smile which was so Christ like. He said "praise God I have been born again, I have been made alive and my sins are forgiven." He talked some to my dad and said how even though he was homeless, with Jesus he could live at rest and knew that God would meet his need. Amen! I'd ask for your prayer for him if you feel the Lord leading... His name is Tim K. This was probably the most successful conversation I have had ever, with someone giving their heart to the Lord. We had talked for about 30 minutes or so.
Well I must go now. But I will say that many people asked me why I a young man was preaching. I told them that "I love Jesus and He was freed me from all sin and hell. And I want to share this good message with you so that you may also be free from your sin, and have a relationship with Him." When people ask me what religion I have, I tell them that I don't have one but follow after Jesus Christ. This just seems to make people more interested and they begin to ask for gospel literature.
May the Lord richly bless you brother!
Your brother in Christ,
Joshua
P.S. I will keep you updated (briefly) about our preaching experiences.

Much emphasis is given by our LORD and the Apostles in their teaching on the importance of the PREACHING or DECLARING the Gospel of Jesus Christ!  It is the POWER of God on earth as given to men (Rom 1.16)... as it provides the most coverage in every area.

The words used for PREACH, PREACHING carry with it the Open Air Proclamation just as a TOWN CRIER!  It is never a 2 eay conversation... but a DECLARATION TO ALL!  The Church Bride of Christ is to be the VOICE of the Bride and the Bridegroom in this untoward generation.

It has been, and remains the privilege of this ministry to expose men to this dimension of the Gospel as prescribed by our LORD JESUS CHRIST!   May we present the Truth in Love... as Jesus did.  Amen.
